Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic Dentistry refers to dental treatments that improve the appearance of a patient’s teeth, gums, bite or smile. There are a number of treatments which can enhance appearance but not all treatments are best suited to all patients.
Types of cosmetic dentistry procedures:
- Teeth Whitening
- Composite & Porcelain Veneers
- Crowns
Implants
Great for replacing a single front tooth or multiple teeth with titanium dental implants, resulting in good longevity if maintained.
Placement is nearly pain-free with excellent esthetic results.
Endodontics - Root Canal Treatment
Root Canal Treatment is a dental procedure that removes the nerve or dental pulp of the tooth. This is often required when the nerve of a tooth has been damaged by trauma or more commonly tooth decay. Often Root Canal Therapy is the alternative to tooth extraction and often required to retain/save a damaged tooth.
Orthodontics & Clear Aligners
Teeth straightening without unsightly brackets. The nearly imperceptible device gently shift your teeth into an esthetic position with minimal discomfort.

Wisdom Teeth Removal
Wisdom teeth can be removed under local anaesthetic in the Dentist’s chair, or under general anaesthetic in a hospital.
To make a recommendation on whether you or your child should undergo wisdom teeth removal, the dentist needs to see the patient for a consultation and a referral for a full mouth x-ray (OPG) will be required to assess the position, level of development and likelihood of normal eruption.
Child Dental Care
Cleveland House Dental is committed to caring for children’s overall dental health. We know how important a great smile is for a child’s confidence and we are passionate about educating children from an early age about the advantages of looking after their teeth and gums.
Gum Problems - Periodontics
One of the first gum disease symptoms is often bleeding gums. Gums become inflamed and can also be tender and painful, red or swollen. Other gum disease symptoms can include bad breath and a bitter taste in the mouth upon waking after sleep. Gums which have shrunk from the teeth, abscesses between teeth and gums and loose teeth are symptoms of more advanced gum disease. Unfortunately gum problems can also cause no pain and one is unaware of its presence: Consequently regular examinations are important.
Dentures
Dentures are one alternative to replacing missing or lost teeth. There are three types of dentures:
A full denture replaces all the natural teeth. This helps provide support to your facial structure allowing your lips and cheeks to look fuller, resulting in a younger, healthier appearance.
A partial denture replaces lost or missing teeth and are usually retained by clasps around your existing teeth.
Implant retained dentures are a popular alternative to conventional dentures. An implant retained denture replaces one or more single teeth and is held in place by dental implants secured within the jaw.
